The Camino browser is Firefox with a Mac front end. It has an unresolved problem with CPU going to 100% that is triggered by having multiple tabs open; closing tabs (or doing anything else short of quitting Camino) does not allow the machine to recover -- once at 100% CPU stays at 100%. As far as I can tell, the Camino team gave up on fixing it. I mention this only as it is oddly parallel. --dan
