While there are a bunch a lawyers in the area that will talk about IP law at user group meetings, to make the topic more broadly interesting you really need to get a speaker (not necessarily a lawyer) who was involved in one of the open source related cases. Any well known IP cases with participants in the Boston area? The EFF might be able to supply a speaker or refer us to one. (A search for "boston" at their site mostly turns up the MIT students' hack against the MBTA, and the recent seizure of a BC student's computer - neither having string ties to IP law.) -Tom -- Tom Metro Venture Logic, Newton, MA, USA "Enterprise solutions through open source."
