Hello Matt:

Neither of the sites I work with look "bloggy".  I always turn off the
blog module :-)  I suspect integrating a backend customer and employee
system will always require considerable work unless it comes with a
web interface, and if it is closed source, there are even fewer
options.  Good luck.
