another hard drive failure story

I did try plugging one of the drives (I think it was the bad one) into 
ATA3 as well, and it was still invisible.  I suppose if ATA2 could be 
busted, then ATA2+ATA3 could be busted....

And of course the bad drive started to go south while it was still 
plugged in to ATA0.
