I've been using CoyotePoint LB appliance and was happy with it. If you don't want to spend $$ on the hardware load-balancer, check out Nginx software load-balancer and caching proxy ( http://wiki.nginx.org ) Nginx is an excellent piece of software. It it extremely reliable and free, although it can miss some advanced options provided by commercial hardware appliances. Eugene.
