Hi, everyone. Attached is a bash script I wrote a few years ago to automate much of the process of signing and emailing keys after a keysigning event. The script takes a list of keyids that you want to sign and email, steps you through the process of signing each key, and generates a BSMTP shar archive that, when run as a shell script, feeds the email messages into "/usr/sbin/sendmail -v -bs" to send them. If you cannot run the script on a valid mail server, you can copy and paste each message into your email client to send. To use the script, first edit the settings at the top to change your name and email address; by default it's set to John Doe <john.doe-hcDgGtZH8xNBDgjK7y7TUQ at public.gmane.org> For future BLU keysignings, also edit the event date. For other, non-BLU keysigning events, edit the event description. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr-iMZfmuK6BGBxLiRVyXs8+g at public.gmane.org / YAHOO abreauj / SKYPE zusa_it_mgr Email jabr-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99
