Linux drivers contract opening in northern MA



Our client needs a Linux drivers engineer with VxWorks experience for
the following:

Participate with a team of engineers developing next generation high
performance embedded Linux and VxWorks products. 

Responsible for hands-on development including specifying, developing
and testing device drivers. 

Characterize and enhance performance of drivers. 

 

This is a 3+mth contract in northern MA, fully expected to go 6 mths or
more. Must be US citizen or green card holder.

 

Qualifications:

BSCS or equivalent required. MS degree a plus. 

10+ years solid Embedded and real time experience. 

Knowledge of the Linux network stack, 2.6 and greater, internals and
protocols highly desirable; Knowledge of VxWorks 6.x, Workbench
development, RTPs highly desirable 

Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, Sockets 

Knowledge of PowerPC and multicomputers 

Languages: C, C++, shell scripting, Bash, and Pearl. It is a bonus to
have TK/expect experience. 

U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
