> Hi! > > Anyone have some older Thinkpads they'd be interesting in getting rid > of? Looking for one with a Pentium 4 or newer processor. > > Also, curious if anyone has an X31 battery they'd like to sell for a few > bux. Slightly off topic but I'm looking for a laptop as well. An old thinkpad would be great. My 5 year old niece is showing a strong interest in computers (she hates sharing the mac with her father) so I told her I'd get her a laptop for Christmas. We agreed that it must be pink and run Linux. I would also like it to be inexpensive. First thought was used thinkpad (I could paint it or put a big sticker on it) or netbook. Thanks for any tips. - Eric C
