I did a couple of searches on this. Here is the message that shows up in the search text: "Get a great deal on the eMachines /eME627/-/5082/ Notebook PC at CompUSA.com. *...* I dual boot Windows and /Linux/ and store media (photos, mp3s, etc), *...*" But when I clicked on the URL, I was unable to find any reference to Linu= x. I would probably recommend either Ubuntu, Fedora, or Open SuSE over CentOS or an enterprise linux only because the newer distros are more likely to support the hardware. Some great prices on this and similar laptops though.
