Slightly longer version: you cannot have more than one root hub node on a bus chain. Tangential answer: there was at one point in time a device for PS2 consoles so that you could connect a PS2 (root hub) to a PC (root hub) for save game transfers. I don't know if it's still findable, and beyond that it would require some specific drivers to make work because the whole concept is alien to USB. --Rich P.
