Is the command line the only way to free software?



Cool! Sounds like a schema-less key/value pair (where you form a data
object as a collection of key/value pairs) repository! Am I right?

I recently heard about the NoSQL movement, which sounds a lot like the
rest of the world realizing the value of the simple repository of
schemaless key/value pair idea. Perhaps I'm wrong. I hope I'm right,
though...

It would definitely be great if we can at least have the underlying
data store to embody the idea of freedom. Screw the Filesystem...

But, I'm also interested in what comes next. What is the model of
interaction with these information? What are some fundamentals actions
we can reenact on them? And how doe we carry these actions out? Does
the Newton shed any light on this aspect of the equation?
