Can't say as I have used that specific drive. but as dvd burners are the current comodity drives I don't suspect to see many problems with any of the major brands. Beyond the unpredictable bad egg that is. I generally grab what ever looks like the best value of Lite-On, sony, samsung, ect from newegg and have never had a bad drive.
