I tried that for a while, and found TB to be real slow and use gobs of memory once you had a few dozen feeds. More importantly, the UI didn't lend itself to efficient skimming. There was no way to get an overview of what was in the feeds. You had to visit each and every feed individually, and there was no mechanism to queue articles you wanted to read later. I also have my doubts whether you can make an effective feed reader outside a web browser. Feed reading typically leads to viewing additional web pages, bookmarking, and blogging - all of which is best handled by your chosen primary browser. I recently ran across feedly (http://www.feedly.com/), which has a Firefox extension. I haven't tried it out yet, but the magazine-style layout it supports looks promising. -Tom -- Tom Metro Venture Logic, Newton, MA, USA "Enterprise solutions through open source."
