I generally print directly to my network connected laser printer, but occasionally I try to print to my wife's printer connected to her Windows PC. I correctly set up the printer to her machine, which alsohas the printer shared. All the connection data and proper printer drivers is set up, but when I print to that printer it gets into the Windows print queue and hangs. I'm not sure if I was able to print successfully on Fedora 12 or possibly an earlier version of Fedora. I'm currently using the HP OfficeJet 5600 Foomatic/hpijs. While the problem could be on the Windows side, I tend to doubt it. --=20 Jerry Feldman <gaf-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id: 537C5846 PGP Key fingerprint: 3D1B 8377 A3C0 A5F2 ECBB CA3B 4607 4319 537C 5846
