Certainly both Avocent and Raritan will be on my list of recommends. I think that Matt mentioned the Raritan back in 2008. I've also got some experience with the Avocent brand stuff. I asked our distributor for a list of what he carries. We can only deal with 1 company for PO purposes. One issue I had with the Rose KVM is that it would frequently go offline. Specifically, I could access it from the local screen, but not remote, so I would have to power cycle it, and on a few occasions it would not even be accessible locally. I would have recommended the Aten KH1516i unit but JABR had not installed it at that time, and out IT people recommended Rose. --=20 Jerry Feldman <gaf-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id: 537C5846 PGP Key fingerprint: 3D1B 8377 A3C0 A5F2 ECBB CA3B 4607 4319 537C 5846
