At work, I have an IA64 workstation running Red Hat Enterprise 5.2. Since Firefox does not run on IA64, I start firefox as: ssh <server> /opt/firefox.3.6.6/firefox Most of the time, firefox works fine, but when I try to log into facebook my screen goes into a crosshatch pattern and eventually X is restarted. This only happens on facebook, and just about the only time I log in on that system is when someone comments on my status. This does not happen on my home system (Fedora 13/Firefox 3.6.4). It's just a bit annoying. --=20 Jerry Feldman <gaf-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id: 537C5846 PGP Key fingerprint: 3D1B 8377 A3C0 A5F2 ECBB CA3B 4607 4319 537C 5846
