Hello:

I updated the notes for my talk, adding 4 open source possibilities:

synkron.sf.net - cross platform, powerful, and thus not easy to set
up, but once done...
One.Ubuntu.com - db choice making it Linux specific
Conduit - gnome app, simplest to set up, not cross platform
WebDAV - cross platform, uses web protocols
