The HD-PVR can record any and all channels that can be spit out the component video output of the box. 'cat /dev/video0 > foo.ts' even works to record something. Caveat emptor: you need a way to change channels on the cable box. The HD-PVR includes an onboard IR blaster, but folks have had mixed results with occasional device lockups when the blaster part is enabled. Figuring out a solution to that is on my TODO list (as is converting the IR driver over to ir-core), but I haven't got to it yet. > On 8/22/10, Jarod Wilson <jarod-ajLrJawYSntWk0Htik3J/w at public.gmane.org> wrote: >> On Sat, Aug 21, 2010 at 12:21 PM, James Kramer <kramerjm-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w at public.gmane.org> wrote: >> ... >>> Does MythTV work with FIOS. >> >> Yes.
