Hello all,

If you have any old laptops/notebooks/netbooks
collecting dust in your basement, you can
donate them to proyecto-chispa .

We will safely erase the hard-drive (using shred)
and do memory tests (using memtest86+) and
we will install edubuntu 10.04 on them and
ship them to the orphans in need.
( We will install Puppy Linux if it has
less than 256MB RAM).

Your old notebook gets a new life, an orphan gets
a computer, and you feel good about yourself.

So far we have prepared about 40 donated computers
