I see very little difference in price between comparably spec'd pro/workstation class laptops from Dell, HP and Lenovo. The only difference with Apple is that you don't have the opportunity to cut corners all over the place to bring system cost down. If you do actually stick to comparable parts and features across the board, the price difference is negligible. If they don't like it, they can get off. Pretty sure even with Apple taking a 30% cut, they'll still be quite profitable. And this is only for in-app purchases, people can still get their content elsewhere, and still use it on the iP*.
