Fedora14 on HP Pavilion DV2000 -- No Sound

Jim,

Thanks! I found this link:
http://fedorasolved.org/Members/fenris02/pulseaudio-fixes-and-workarounds

and turns out that I have to modify "/etc/modprobe.d/snd_hda_intel.conf" to
read:

   options snd-hda-intel model=hp
   options snd_hda_intel power_save=0
   options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1
   options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1

This solved my HP sound problem. Thanks again!

Cheers,
Hsuanyeh

Fedora forum is a good place to look. Use the search term
"no sound" in the "installation" and "guides and solutions"
forums.
