Host computer is Windows (XP). The iPod has been connected exactly twice, once by him when he resynced and once by me. The people at the Apple store said that each application developer determines how the app syncs. I know for a fact that QuickVoice does sync because they have a tool for "ripping" synced copies of voice recordings. The problem is that I don't know what to look for. If it's a single backup (database) file which holds all voice recordings, then I'm screwed but if it's a unique backup file (or files) for each recording then I should be able to find it on my laptop. I'm waiting to hear back from the QuickVoice people. -----Original Message----- From: discuss-bounces-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org [mailto:discuss-bounces-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org] On Behalf Of Rob Hasselbaum Sent: Wednesday, March 23, 2011 3:24 PM To: Richard Pieri Cc: L-blu Unix Subject: Re: O/T Need help / advice recovering file from an iPod On Wed, Mar 23, 2011 at 3:16 PM, Richard Pieri <richard.pieri-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w at public.gmane.org>wrote: > Not that OT, actually.
