At Wednesday's meeting, I pushed out three more old videos of BLU meetings that would have taken forever from my slow DSL connection at home. I was rather surprised to discover that Youtube is now allowing me to upload chunks larger than 15 minutes, where it rejected longer videos only a few days earlier. The new videos, and all the others I've uploaded, are linked to on the BLU website, under /video: http://blu.org/video/ The newly uploaded ones are * 2000-04-19 : Eric S. Raymond, "Open Source Community: Culture and Advocacy" * 2001-05-16 : Brad Snow, "Wearable Computing at WPI" * 2008-07-16 : Don Becker, "Beowulf Clusters at Penguin Computing" Unfortunately, when we recorded this month's meeting, I had inadvertently left the camcorder in "photo" mode, and this wasn't caught until well into the meeting. I had recorded the audio separately, so I can always upload a complete audio-only edition. I'll be examining the recordings over the weekend to decide how to proceed. -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix AIM abreauj / JABBER jabr-iMZfmuK6BGBxLiRVyXs8+g at public.gmane.org / YAHOO abreauj / SKYPE zusa_it_mgr Email jabr-mNDKBlG2WHs at public.gmane.org / WWW http://www.abreau.net / PGP-Key-ID 0xD5C7B5D9 PGP-Key-Fingerprint 72 FB 39 4F 3C 3B D6 5B E0 C8 5A 6E F1 2C BE 99
