I have to add that I was looking at it is a solution as well (and a move away from dropbox) and only with a handful of users. While it works "for me" it's not there for other, even technically talented, users. We were using the mac front-end 0.2 package and a linux server with git as the backend. As mentioned, the fact that ~/Sparkleshare isn't the replicated folder but is the container for sync'ed folders was only the first line of confusion. One another list it was pointed out that this is a "reboot/complete rewrite" of the old Novell "ifolder" product. Has anyone had success with that product? It too is open source: http://ifolder.com but it is built on Mono at this point, just a warning for those who dislike .NET. -Ben
