Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of a new product
team, which is developing predictive analytics software for the Cloud.
Duties include:

.        Establish operational standards and practices to be applied across
a growing product line.

.        Handle Operational tasks for various projects including software
deployments, monitoring, configuration, and interfacing with customers.

.        Responsible for the full lifecycle (architect, design, deploy, and
maintain) of high performance computing clusters, Linux and Windows based
application and database servers, storage systems and networking
infrastructure.

.        Manage and maintain software development tools including Jira,
Confluence, SVN, HTTP servers, database servers, etc. 

.        Provide administration of cloud resources such as Amazon EC2.

 

Required Skill-set

.        In depth knowledge of Linux, Windows, web and application server
(Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Websphere) administration

.        Firm understanding of relational database systems.  Data warehouse
and analytic (e.g. column oriented) DB understanding a plus.

.        Experience deploying and supporting storage systems and front-end
and back-end networks.

.        Experience deploying large scale applications using Hadoop or other
large distributed systems a plus.

 

Job Type 

Permanent.   H1 transfers will be considered.

Compensation 

            85-115k, based on experience.
