A local colo provider is back in business as an independent company: Lowell Gray bought Shore.Net's hosting business back from Primus Telecom. Infrastructure has been cleaned up and pared down so he can compete at the low-price tier. Nothing fancy and no flowery provisioning app or automatic purchasing website: you deal directly with the owner at this point, whether for a single VM slice or a colo cage, so the price is low and you don't have to deal with sales droids. Same website as always: www.shore.net. -rich Disclosure: Prior to and up until shortly after the Primus buyout, I worked for Shore.Net. So I want to see Lowell Gray succeed.
