[Discuss] Unable to partition a new drive = death?



Just a quick question, verify that the drive is, in fact, SATA and not
SAS. (Serial ATA vs Serial Attached SCSI) there are supposed to be some
level of compatibility, but I don't have any first hand experience
troubleshooting.
