I was pleased that Fedora 16 detected and installed the primary printer for me, without issue. But, I did not even notice that it provided no duplex support untill Jerry poked me. The latest HPLIP (from HP) corrected this for me. And so too, Xerox had a tarball of PPDs that I was able to use to provide color/duplex capabilites to access our Phaser. Thanks, again, for the heads-up /Jay Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2012 21:19:11 -0500 From: gaf at blu.org To: discuss at blu.org Subject: [Discuss] Color for laserjet printers on Fedora 16 Solved Had to install HPLIP. -- Jerry Feldman <gaf at blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix PGP key id:3BC1EB90 PGP Key fingerprint: 49E2 C52A FC5A A31F 8D66 C0AF 7CEA 30FC 3BC1 EB90 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss at blu.org http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
