If you are looking to fill a position at a school or hospital then HERC may be more suitable. If you just want to be carpet-bomed with resumes then Monster, Hotjobs, Career Builder, Dice and Craigslist will be adequate -- and cost you less than a listing on The Ladders would. Some 65% of unemployed MA residents who find work do so by word of mouth. Only about 10% find work through placement services. The remaining ~25% find work through other means including on-line listings like Monster and social sites like LinkedIn. Statistically, the best bang for your buck is employee referral. --Rich P.
