Yes. At least once. As far as I know it worked as expected. (I didn't precisely examine my account balance to see that exactly the expected amount was deducted, but it dropped by about a few dollars and there were no errors or complaints from the My Account app when switch to/from plans.) What's annoying abut this is that up until about a year ago T-Mobile offered a data "day pass" where you paid a few dollars for 24 hours of data access, and didn't need to mess with your phone plan at all. When they discontinued it, the outrage in the T-Mobile forums suggested it was a popular feature. Then someone figured out the dynamic plan change trick, which does essentially the same thing for about the same price with slightly less convenience. Not sure what T-Mobile is trying to accomplish. Who knows how long this trick will last...wouldn't surprise me if they eventually wise up and limit you to one plan change per month. > How exactly is it done? edwardp covered this in his post. -Tom -- Tom Metro Venture Logic, Newton, MA, USA "Enterprise solutions through open source."
