I recently upgraded gimp to v2.8, and when I run it from a terminal window, I see an odd error message periodically that I've never noticed before: Metadata parasite seems to be corrupt When I try to google it, I see a lot of developer threads that suggest it's something fairly routine, but I can't seem to find anything that defines the term. Can anyone shed some light on what a "metadata parasite" is supposed to be? -- John Abreau / Executive Director, Boston Linux & Unix PGP KeyID: 32A492D8 / Email: abreauj at gmail.com PGP FP: 7834 AEC2 EFA3 565C A4B6 9BA4 0ACB AD85 32A4 92D8
