If an Android phone right out of the factory box came installed with Froyo or Gingerbread and over time, the phone is eventually upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich, would Google Play then recognize that individual phone as being upgraded to ICS for app download purposes, or as the phone still having the original OS specs (Froyo/Gingerbread)?
