Thanks!! *Job Description * /*How far can you go with extraordinary colleagues at your side?*/ KERNEL GURU Your role in the SUSE Labs will be both technical and people oriented. On the technical side, it will be in research and development of new functionality of the Linux kernel and solving difficult issues and problems within the code. On the people side we're looking for somebody well recognized within the Linux kernel developers and broader open source communities who can bring forward new ideas and defend open source principles. Your responsibility within the team will be to advance the technology in the Linux kernel and make it suitable for SUSE's Linux based products. The Labs is geographically spread over several locations in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. The SUSE Labs kernel teams are heavily involved in Level 3 support and the maintenance of the Linux kernel; part of your responsibility will be to solve the tougher problems in your area of expertise. Job location: you can be located anywhere in the world! With the team being mostly distributed, you can do your job from anywhere in the world. It is advantageous to spend some time in Nuremberg and/or Prague though. You will report to the Department Leader of the Labs team. Create A Great Day!
