In any case Jamie Zawinski says: "Let me make it clear that McCusker is a complete barking lunatic. This is just about the stupidest file format I've ever seen." In any case, I've never seen a reference to the Mork Database in cases where I have searched for freezes. My local Inbox is not too big, but I don't purge my sent mailbox. The freeze I usually see is that when I am typing, the echoing stops which does appear that the GUI is waiting on a lock. > > You can't convert from mbox to maildir.
