> From: discuss-bounces+blu=nedharvey.com at blu.org [mailto:discuss- > bounces+blu=nedharvey.com at blu.org] On Behalf Of Matthew Kowalski > > The issue I'm specifically having is when I click the Red5 chat button > it opens a gray window and says "Enter...connected" but audio/video > doesn't I did this about 5 yrs ago, so I'm sorry I don't have any details, except, to say I remember it being a pain. I remember it being unreliable. I have noticed how little development openfire receives (I don't think anything has changed.) And I remember, after it was working, feeling extremely underwhelmed. The sum total of the Red5 "video" was a video thumbnail, like a 1" square on the screen and no more. If chatting from mac to mac, setting up iChat server was extremely wonderful. But only compatible with macs. Oovoo was regrettable experiment. Basically .. Skype or Lync were my conclusions. Good luck...
