I bought my Ricoh C410DN color laser in December 2006. Best-ever device I can recall ever owning. Originally I bought it to save on ink/toner, and now I realize that it's delivered not only that but incredible durability. There's never been a problem with it, other than a sporadic paper-jam issue with the envelope feeder (which surprisingly went away after I put the thing on a bouncy truck/train trip across the nation last year). My purchase was for home; Ricoh doesn't really sell to consumers but they are available through any of the usual online retail sites. Also, Ricoh toner isn't sold at office-supply stores, but I've found that Amazon.com's delivery speed, along with the 1- to 3-year (!) lifespan of each cartridge at my current usage, make that an irrelevant issue. My page counts since purchase are: Total : 25449 Black & White : 10554 Full Color : 14842 Single Color : 0 Two-color : 53 Duplex : 8468 The purchase cost was $650 and so far I've spent a similar amount on toner cartridges so it's under 6 cents a page, including buying the printer. -rich
