[Discuss] I believe bitcoins [1] (and bitcoin mining) are now officially "jumping the shark" [2]

Too little, too late. Bitcoin mining with a GPU today will cost you more 
for the electrical power than you will recoup from any coins mined. The 
serious miners moved to dedicated ASICs last summer for this reason.
