MIT IS&T came >< close to boycotting Macintosh over it. And I figure the Trustees threatened legal action; they're touchy about anyone breaking Kerberos. Never mind the Kerberos-related problems in 10.7 that came with Apple's switch from MIT Kerberos to Heimdal. There's the WiFi botch job in 10.10 and the 10.10.1 update that supposedly fixed it failing to fix it: http://www.computerworld.com/article/2848835/os-x-yosemite-update-fails-to-solve-mac-wi-fi-mess.html That's just a few of the problems that I've had to deal with either for myself or supporting users at MIT. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, and Apple's pudding has rocks in it. -- Rich P.
