Is that like a keyboard?  Those are tangible.  Usually.  Or a mouse.

I'm not sure I like the use of that word in the context of a software
API. Unless you're doing robotics.  That might make sense.  Except I
think I would still be wary of the word tangible in that case.  Because
the thing that is tangible to the robot is YOU!
