I bought a new micro SD for my phone; I tested it prior to entering it into service, and it locked up hard after about 4 GB of testing, after which it went permanently catatonic. The card it replaced developed silent write errors after about 2 years. And I had had another such that was *ahem* mismarked. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk at alum.mit.edu> *** MIT Engineers A Proud Tradition http://mitathletics.com *** Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- http://ProgFree.org Project lead for Gutenprint -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton
