Two factors that made the PR4100 a no-op: MicroCenter didn't have what I wanted in stock despite the web site claiming they did, and no Btrfs or ZFS that I could find. So I got a Synology DS1517+ and five 4GB WD Red 5400RPM drives. Btrfs out of the box, about 10.5TB available storage with 2 disks worth of parity (RAID6). Checking the RAID set now, gonna let that run overnight and see how it goes after that. -- Rich P.
