[Discuss] LibreOffice and .docx files



The other option is to run Office under Wine or CrossOver. (The latter
is a commercially supported non-free offshoot of Wine.) I haven't
tried it but it's supposed to work reasonably well, because that's one
of the software packages that they concentrate on supporting.
