Case: $110 PSU: $50 Motherboard: $210 CPU: $116 RAM: $210 About $700 total for parts (no drives). The 4TB WD Red drives are $125 each. The 850 EVO is about $100. And the lightly used WD Blue drive that will be the system drive is $50. Total if I were buying with new drives would be about $1350. A similarly configured diskless FreeNAS Mini (with Avoton/Atom CPU) is $1000, and about $1900 with disks and read cache. -- Rich P.
