Or maybe I'm stupid or tired or something or all of the above. dnsmasq was picking up the old OpenDNS servers from the backup copy of the config file (local.conf.bak). It looks at *everything* in /etc/dnsmasq.d, not just files with a conf extension. -- Rich P.
