[Discuss] Reliable external HD enclosure for Linux?

I can't be sure, of course, but I did locate some user reports that
this particular enclosure (Inateck FE3001) is unreliable with 8 TB
drives in the same way that I've encountered. It's also cheaper to try
replacing the enclosure first. :-)
