Remember that the "METOO" movement is a religious movement, it is not based on facts, logic, or evidence.

It's core doctrine is "Always believe (as fact) the accusations.".  
The accusations are not up for debate, and analysis.

Trying to find actual facts is simply not a part of the equation.

I find it humorous that everyone is trying to talk logically about this.
This group is smart enough to know better.

Universities (all of them) seem to be fully on-board with this whole PC doctrine.

"The unaware, are unaware that they're unaware."
