[Discuss] Using thunderbird for sending gmail

I've used it for a long time. About 6 months ago, my gaf. at gapps.blu.org
stopped working on tbird, and my last imap mail on this account is dated
July 29.
There is a Gmail setting for less secure apps that I can set. I've been
avoiding doing that
