IIRC, you're not actually changing the mac address on the NIC, but rather you're telling the Linux networking stack to use a mac other than the one provided by your card. So I think this can be done with any NIC. I know NetworkManager, for example, lets you edit individual network connections and set them to randomize the mac. DR
