[Discuss] OT - HDD light blinks in a pattern with audio before bootup

I didn't think to hit ESC, as I recalled one of the F keys brought up a 
terminal, which didn't occur when I tried them, but it booted up fine 
(with the described HDD light pattern) this morning.
