I know no additional details about the job posting below. I'm just forwarding it as a favor for a personal acquaintance. Contact info is at the bottom of the posting. Job Description: On a regular basis: a) maintenance and troubleshooting of storage, compute, and GPU servers. b) responding to student and researcher sysadmin-related requests On an occasional basis (1-2 times per year) c) installing a new server and bringing it online. Time Commitment: On a steady-state basis, the expected work is ~10-20 hrs/month. However, there will be some heavy work initially (and occasionally) as new storage and GPU nodes are brought online. Skills required: you should be very comfortable with system administration tasks in an Ubuntu Linux environment, be knowledgeable about NFS-based storage solutions and be familiar with Nvidia GPU setups. Experience working with academic computing setups is a plus but not required.
